Hello, my name is Jordan Gongora and I'm from West Branch, Iowa, and El Paso, Texas. I graduated in 2020 from Iowa State University with a bachelor's of Biological/pre-Medical Illustration (BPMI, now known as SciViz). When I decided I wanted to go back to school for medicine, the MCA program was the obvious choice.

I hope to use my creative and analytical background to both contribute to medical education, and return to my original goal of entering medical school. The MCA program’s blend of academic depth and closely knit cohort of like minded peers is exactly what I need to take this next step.

In my free time, usually I can be found with my dogs. I love drawing, writing, rollerskating (Old Capitol City Roller Derby represent!), TTRPGs, and board games.
