Hi! My Name is Jess Hediger and I'm from Marion, Iowa! I graduated from the University of Iowa in 2025 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Health Studies. I've spent the last five years working as a Patient Care Technician in various units such as Pre-Op, PACU, Med-Surg, Ortho, and currently the Emergency Department.

Outside of school I enjoy physical activity like CrossFit, reading, listening to music, and of course making any and all memories with family and friends. I chose the MCA program as I am deeply interested in learning more in-depth anatomy, as well as doing research. As a future PA, I plan to start a non-profit mobile clinic in rural communities within Iowa. Developing a deeper understanding of anatomy will help me become a more holistic and competent future provider for these communities!
