Hi! My name is Sophie Long, and I recently graduated from the University of Iowa with a B.A. in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. During my undergraduate years, I had the opportunity to work in cancer research, which helped shape my interest in oncology and my goal of becoming a physician. I chose the MCA program because of its emphasis on hands-on learning and the opportunity to deepen my understanding of the anatomical sciences while continuing to grow academically and prepare for the next steps in my education. I’m also excited about the program’s small cohort and the opportunity to learn in such a collaborative environment. Outside of school, I love spending time with my friends and family, reading, going to concerts, and cheering on the Hawkeyes!
